Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

Scope & contribution
The Journal of Multidimensional Management publishes rigorous, relevant, and reproducible studies in management and related fields. Submissions must state the research gap, theoretical positioning, and actionable managerial/policy implications.

Article types & recommended limits

  • Research Article: 5,000–8,000 words; ≤8 tables/figures; ≤60 references.

  • Review Article (systematic/bibliometric/meta-analysis): 6,000–10,000 words; follow PRISMA where relevant.

  • Conceptual Paper: 4,000–7,000 words.

  • Case Study / Teaching Case: 3,000–6,000 words (include a teaching note if applicable).

  • Short Communication: 2,000–3,000 words.
    (Departures require editor approval.)

Language & formatting

  • Manuscripts must be written in English only.

  • A4 page; 11-pt main text; 1.15 line spacing; 2.5 cm margins; SI units.

  • Embed tables/figures near first mention; figures ≥300 dpi and legible in grayscale.

File set & order (double-blind)

  1. Title Page (separate; not sent to reviewers): title; full author names & affiliations; corresponding email; ORCID for all authors; funding; conflicts of interest; contributor roles (CRediT); acknowledgements.

  2. Main Manuscript (Anonymous): no names, affiliations, acknowledgements, or identifying metadata. Includes title, English abstract, keywords, main text, embedded tables/figures, references.

  3. Figures/Tables (optional): high-resolution separate files (PNG/JPG/TIFF/XLSX/CSV).

  4. Supplementary/Data (optional): instruments, datasets, appendices.

  5. Cover Letter (optional): fit to Aim & Scope, novelty, key contributions.

Manuscript structure (IMRaD)

  • Title (≤16 words) and running title (≤60 characters).

  • Abstract (150–250 words, English) + 3–6 keywords (English).

  • Introduction (gap, objectives, contributions).

  • Literature Review / Hypotheses.

  • Method (context, sampling, instruments, validity/reliability, analysis).

  • Results (numbered tables/figures with titles and notes).

  • Discussion (findings vs. literature; theoretical and practical implications).

  • Conclusion (contribution, limitations, future research).

  • References (IEEE style).

  • Appendices / Supplementary Materials (optional).

IEEE citation & references (required)

In-text: numerical brackets in order of appearance, e.g., “as shown in [1]”; multiple sources [2], [5]–[7]. Reuse the same number for repeated citations.

Reference list: title References, ordered by citation sequence [1],[2],…[1], [2], …. Use initials before surnames. If ≤6 authors list all; if >6, list the first author followed by et al. Include DOIs as HTTPS links when available.

Integrity, ethics & transparency
Include Funding, Conflict of Interest, Ethical Approval & Informed Consent (when applicable), and a Data Availability statement (with repository link if available). All submissions undergo similarity screening (Turnitin/iThenticate). Thresholds: ≤20% overall and ≤3% per source (references excluded). The journal applies double-blind peer review and follows COPE-aligned Publication Ethics.
