Focus and Scope

Overview

The Journal of Multidimensional Management (JoMM) publishes interdisciplinary research grounded in management scholarship and providing clear theoretical and/or practical contributions. The journal welcomes studies across diverse management contexts, with growing scholarly engagement in hospitality, tourism, and service management. JoMM welcomes contextually grounded studies that demonstrate relevance to broader management scholarship or practice. Manuscripts are published in English.

Contribution Expectations

All submissions must demonstrate a clear management-related contribution, supported by appropriate theoretical positioning, relevant and current literature, and a defensible research gap. Studies should provide meaningful theoretical, managerial, methodological, and/or policy implications.

JoMM welcomes contextually grounded research; however, a change of geographical, institutional, organisational, or industry setting alone is not considered sufficient evidence of novelty. Authors should explain how the research extends, challenges, integrates, or applies existing knowledge in a manner that advances management theory or practice.

Research from hospitality, tourism, and service contexts is particularly encouraged where it addresses substantive management problems and contributes to broader scholarly discussions rather than merely using a hotel, destination, restaurant, or tourism organisation as the location of data collection.

Article Types

JoMM prioritises Original Research Articles and also considers Review Articles, Conceptual Papers, Case Studies/Teaching Cases, and Short Communications where they provide a substantive and clearly articulated scholarly contribution.

Methods Accepted

JoMM is methodologically inclusive and welcomes quantitative, qualitative, mixed-method, and conceptual research designs. Appropriate approaches may include surveys, field or laboratory experiments, case studies, interviews, ethnography, grounded theory, longitudinal studies, secondary-data analysis, big-data analytics, modelling and simulation, design and evaluation studies, systematic reviews, bibliometric analyses, and meta-analyses.

Regardless of method, manuscripts should provide transparent and sufficient information regarding research design, data sources, sampling or participant selection, instruments or measures, analytical procedures, ethical considerations where applicable, and study limitations.

Policies and Standards

JoMM applies a double-blind peer-review process and follows established principles of publication ethics, research integrity, and responsible scholarly publishing. Submissions are subject to editorial screening, including relevance to the journal's Focus and Scope, scholarly contribution, methodological quality, originality, ethical compliance, and textual-similarity assessment.

Authors should consult the journal's Peer Review Process, Publication Ethics, Plagiarism Policy, Artificial Intelligence Policy, Copyright and License Statement, Open Access Policy, Archiving Policy, Author Guidelines, and Online Submissions pages for detailed requirements.
